A Busy Day

Hello all,
Today is a busy day, as is the rest of this week. The more I think about all that I need to get done, the more stressed out I get.

This is about how I'll look by the end of the week, I believe. I'm already starting too. However, it;s not all bad. I have a dance tomorrow night, which should be a lot of fun. It's prom themed. I must admit though, its also causing me stress. I have to create a playlist of songs for it. So, due this week I have: One paper on a book, a MacGamut assignment (a crazy program that we use for my music classes to "train our ears," memorizing two more poems for a poetry recitation, and I have to attend two concerts. To avoid the picture scenario, I will just have to take this week one day and one assignment at a time and pray to God that I get trough it with the least amount of damage as possible.

Until tomorrow,

A Fresh Start

Hello internet,
I hope you find yourselves well. I'm starting this blog as a refreshment from the last one I had. My other, while I enjoyed it, I found incredibly difficult to use. So, I decided to switch to this site. Last year, when I first started, I had the ability to blog everyday and fit it in no matter how busy I was. this year, I have not had that ability and I have felt awful for not fulfilling what I said I would do. Now, I am going to try to do the same thing, again. However, as summer is almost here, (two weeks to be exact), I should have much more time to do it. This is my fresh start on the internet, and it is needed badly.
So a little about me, I am a college student, studying English at UN-L. I love writing and hope one day to teach English at a high school or college and be a children's author. That's right, I want to write picture books for kids. :) I grew up in a tiny village in North East NE and lived out in the country my entire life until I started college. I enjoy the country life and sometimes its like "small town girl meets big city" for me. One day, I hope to move out of Nebraska and go west to Oregon or just the Northwest in general. It's beautiful out there. The sky is so blue.
Anyway, that is enough for me. Until tomorrow, May the Lord bless and keep thee, while we are absent, one from the other.
